I watched this match out of a feeling of duty. I thought something interesting might come out of it though - what with all the conspiracy theories, drug-taking accusations, Beckenbauer's bag!!! But, it turned out to be actually not a bad game - quite entertaining!! The Germans actually seemed a bit more lively than usual - so did the Koreans; they were everywhere! However, that it was a German victory is no great surprise to most. I'm not too sure about my emotions. I actually felt sorry for Ballack when he got booked and knew he would miss the final. I stood up and applauded when he scored!!! Then I cheered on the Koreans and, ended up, once more feeling sorry for Ballack!! Nice try Korea - we'll see you again on Saturday, hopefully playing Brazil. (The Koreans eat TIGERS!!). A bonus today was an interview with Leonardo, who is an "expert analyst" in Tokyo. He looks to have become a bit cakey though. Funny how a lot of footballers go that way once they hang up their boots.
