I have included below a list of books dealing with true crimes around the world with thier author's which is also one of my interests. Some of these have reference to some of the hauntings that i have included, or hope to include on my ghost pages.

Quite a lot of infomation on Ghosts and hauntings can be obtained as is obvious from high street shops, and library refrence sections can be mines of infomation, helpful librarians can be of use on local places and locations as well. Included below are not only Ghost & psychic organisations but also Spiritualist Organisations with a little info on them.

These two Organisations between them run about 2,250 spititualist churches in Britain alone, with an estimated 90,000 active members and are invairiably helpful.

THE GREATER WORLD CHRISTIAN SPIRITUALIST ASSOCIATION

This has about 150 affiliated churches and practices traditional christian beliefs alongside spiritualism.

PSYCHIC NEWS

This is the spiritualist weekly newspaper, it offen mentions current reports of hauntings, usualy without going into great detail. Enquiries at the London office are dealt with promptly. Psychic News issues a Yearbook and catalogue which contains addresses of spiritualist centres throughout the world and other infomation of special interest to spiritualists.

THE GHOST CLUB

Founded in 1862, it is the oldest and most respected of British investigating organisations. It has unrivalled facilities and experienced & friendly members, and the oportunity to participate in investigations. Membership is usualy by invitation only, but for further infomation write direct.

THE COLLEGE OF PSYCHIC STUDIES

16 Queensberry Place

The college has changed its name several times, but has always been highly regarded. It has an excellent Library and publishes its own magazine light three times a year, conducts healing, meditation, psychic development courses and has a very full programme of lectures, workshops and classes. The college is open to anyone interested in the paranormal and has three categories of membership, associate, full membership and fellow.

THE UNITARIAN SOCIETY FOR PSYCHICAL STUDIES

Founded in 1965, this is a religious based society.The aim of the society is to encourage the study of psychical phenomena in all aspects with a critical and open mind. It issues periodical journals and holds an annual conference usualy in Birmingham.

THE LONDON SOCIETY FOR PSYCHICAL RESEARCH

Founded in 1882 by a group of spiritualists, this group is open to anyone wanting to become a member.

THE BRITISH UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT RESEARCH ASSOCIATION (BUFORA)

Founded in 1964, the organisation investigates all aspects of UFO exploration, including relevant ghosts and apparitions and thier possible correlation. The society issues a bi-monthly UFO TIMES and holds meetings in London. Membersip is open to sympathetic applicants who are aproved by the society's council, write for details.

THE NOAH'S ARK SOCIETY

Established in 1990 & will interest those intrigued by the induced phenomena of the seance room as well spontaneous ghosts & hauntings. There are about 400 members and run occasional seminars, thier emphasis is on the phenomena of rather than the seance itself.

GHOSTBUSTERS UK

This group use computers to monitor changes in temperature, light and vibration, and is attached to sound recording equipment. Transport is a "Ghostmobile" and aim to build up sufficient print-outs of different types of paranormal activity to be able to locate patterns that could be invaluable in the study of psychic activity.
