Rear suspension, hub, brakes and wheel as supplied by Ginetta

 

Rear hub fixed to Ginetta supplied cast upright. It is important to ensure at least 3mm clearance between both bottom mounting bolts to avoid splitting the cast upright. Coil over shock absorber is by AVO.

 

To the bottom left of cast upright is a black spacer which when supplied by Ginetta is too long and fouls the inside of the wheel rim. Approx. 1/4" was machined off. Also note that the mountings for the rear caliper are to the rear of the hub not to the front as specified in the Ginetta manual. When mounted to the front of the hub the caliper fouls the shock absorber when suspension travel bottoms out.
