Whitby Regatta
An annual event attended by the Cleveland Kit Cars & Specials Owners Club at Whitby N.Yorks. This was the first event I'd had the opportunity to attend in 2000 and the car won first prize overall.

 

Rosmalen Autotron (Holland)
The Funcar 2000 event ot the Autotron museum in Rosmalen was supported by Kit Car magazine and though predominantly a custom/american event there was a good display of kit cars by manufacturers, clubs and individuals.
The cars were all displayed in a purpose built hall with the kit cars mainly on the upper level. Once your car is on display it must stay there for the whole event. There was a lot of interest in my Ginetta with it being the only example at the show. The organisers provided accomodation for the weekend in the holiday park next to the museum, taking the overnight ferry from Hull to Rotterdam made for a really enjoyable weekend.
