What is CAH?  
  Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) describes the appearance of the adrenal glands in the disorder. The name roughly translates as thickening or overgrowth (hyperplasia) of the adrenal glands from birth (congenital). It is an inherited condition that affects approximately 1 in 10,000 people in the United Kingdom. Click on the link for further information.
