download facility is provided as a service to members and the local
Amateur Radio community. Software packages have been rigorously
tested prior to inclusion, however, the North Yorkshire Repeater Group

| Description: |
This is a Windows based
application written to demonstrate the operation of the proposed GB3NY -
GB3YC repeater linking project. The application uses a mimic
display to illustrate the operation of each repeater and allows the user
to simulate both linked and un-linked QSO's. The application is a
test-bed for the actual 'logic' which would be used in the project and
has been provided to allow user feedback to the development team. |
| Installation: |
The software is provided
in a Zip archive which contains two files, LinkSim.exe and LinkSim.doc.
After downloading LinkSim.zip, extract the two files using a Zip utility
and place the contents in a suitable directory. You are advised to run a
virus check for good housekeeping. The LinkSim.doc file is a MS
Word(95) file containing a description of the Simulator. To run
LinkSim, execute LinkSim.exe by double clicking on the file icon in
explorer. |
