Press Relations and freelance writer

PR and writing services,

From Graeme Coulam

The purpose of writing is to communicate with an audience. But, that's easier said than done.
In a theatre the audience is obvious. It's sitting right in front of you. It's also contained. It already has an interest in hearing what you have to say.
In business, the audience is harder to define. It might be your prospects, your customers, your suppliers, your investors ? They're hard to attract, and they're hard to keep enthralled.
So what can you do to keep them entertained? How can you make sure they're informed, and educated, and excited by what you have to offer?
You can start by talking to me.
As a freelance writer and PR practitioner, I've got more than 15 years' experience of writing for business. Everything from brochures, to mailshots, to newspaper feature articles.
In b2b and consumer markets, I've got experience of promoting everything from architecture to zoology.
And the important thing from your perspective, is that I can understand your business. Words matter to the writer, but without his understanding, his words will have no meaning.
So, if you work with me, you'll be working with someone who can understand your product and understand your market. You'll be working with someone who recognises that different parts of your audience have different messages they need to hear.
And you'll also be working with someone who understands that you have a budget, and deadlines, and that this is the real world where people's jobs and livelihoods depend on the sales you make and the messages you send out.
And you'll also be working with someone who sees loyalty as important, and is proud of the fact that some of his clients have been clients for more than ten years. Now how many fancy agencies can claim that kind of track record?
