Web sites
The sites featured here are my own creations, intended to "showcase"
my work (with the aim of getting a job!). The number of sites will grow as I
find time to develop them and depending on the feedback I receive. All sites
reflect an aspect of my personality, interests, etc. To return to these pages,
click on the EllyVision link you will find somewhere on the site.
A Virtual Walk
through Emsworth
A short journey through the Hampshire (UK) village of Emsworth, where I live.
Take a virtual walk (ie. on your computer!) to find out more about English
heritage, or print out the map and directions and come to see it for yourself!
The site, which uses frames, has three main features:
Text
describing two short walks around the village, and details of how to get there
by train, bus or car.
A map of
Emsworth, with areas you can click on to show photographs of parts of the
village.
Photographs
taken at various points of interest around the village.
"Memory
Matters"
This is a prototype Web-based learning site developed as coursework for one of
the units I undertook as part of the MSc Information Systems at the University
of Portsmouth. To read about it before viewing the site, read the
coursework briefing or
my report on the site (also part of the
coursework).
