Today Chris likes to work with bold colours, Liberty floral prints and hand printed Batik which she mixes in a classical and timeless way often blending many different fabrics.

Chris moved from Sardinia to Cornwall in 1983 and joined the Guild of Ten soon afterwards. Although she originally studied classical music, Chris trained as a courturier whilst living in Singapore.
She was attracted to the exotic fabrics and some of her designs display this glamorous oriental influence.

Chris believes that workmanship is very important and gives special attention to all aspects of this centuries old tradition.
