We played a variety of games both indoors and outside. Games like ball
against the wall, hopscotch, hulahoops, slides in the snow were played
in the playground and cards, dominoes, snakes and ladders and ludo were
played indoors. When I was three I had a tricycle and a wooden homemade
sit-on horse with wheels. Later I had a two-wheeled scooter. At parties
we played games like pass the parcel, postman’s knock, forfeits, spin the
plate, ring on a sting, I went to market, puss puss, balloons sides.
