KDBC Media expanded in 2002 to manage brands or properties owned by existing clients. Or to lend a guiding hand through the licensing minefield and assist you in leveraging your brand equity.

Our task is to take those brands and extend their market presence through a strategic licensing programme.

Our first property to market was the iconic Smash Martians.

The Smash Martians were created in 1973 and featured continuously until around 1985, making a welcome re-appearance in 1999. Since then The Smash Martians have kept themselves busy by occasionally promoting Smash on special on-pack offers. Premium’s from the 70’s fetch in excess of £50 at auction!

The current licensing programme is well established with products such as: t-shirts; mobile phone content, gift items, greetings cards, calendars, light switch covers, posters, socks, interactive and stationary gracing the retailer’s shelves.
