For specific planning appeal decisions, if they do not
appear on this website, try searching on www.planningresource.co.uk/dcs. You can also search www.welhat.gov.uk in the planning section
for a specific address and it will produce a list of all applicable planning
applications since 1985 and appeals since 1995. It is not perfect because a site can be
described in different ways i.e. ‘the Old Kennels, Welham Manor’ has also been
listed as ‘land at the rear of

Claregate. This is a large house on the A1000 Great North Road in Little Heath Potters Bar. It has stood empty for many years. No planning applications have been made for it since our records started in 1995. A shame really because it would make a good site for houses or flats. Welwyn Hatfield District Plan identifies it as a potential site for over 10 dwellings, but this was a theoretical exercise to satisfy central government that there are sufficient potential sites in the district to meet housing targets.
Friday Grove
This is a 21-acre site (8.5hectares) at Hawkshead Road,
between Brookmans Park and Little Heath, Potters Bar. Details are on our Action pages for 2004 and
2005.
Folly arch
This is a grade 11* listed building on Hawkshead Road, Little Heath, Potters Bar, Herts. Cracks first appeared in the arch several years ago and the North Mymms Society pressed for remedial work to be done. See our Actions sections over several years. The work was finally done with a grant from English Heritage and the arch now looks fine.
Linden Lodge
This is located on Bulls Lane, near Welham Green, near Hatfield Herts. Information is held on our ‘Actions’ pages 2005 and 2004. Information on these Action pages is in alphabetical order of road name.
Meetings
The North Mymms District Green Belt Soc minutes no longer appear on this website. Our ‘actions’ pages give you information about planning applications where we have commented or objected, and the outcome where known. Those pages also list planning appeals where we have been involved. The full list of planning applications in North Mymms parish is accessed on the front page (see below)

not being used as a residence
