deleted the proposed car park alongside the sports field on the south side of
the lane.
Cherry Dell, Hawkshead Lane. Planning
permission has been granted for a turning head on the south side of the lane
just west of the end house. When the
flood gates are closed on Warrengate Road this turning head will be opened to enable vehicles
heading west to turn round instead of the hazardous reversing up the lane.

character with the area.

Herts CC Waste Management Plan. We
have had two meetings with the County Council in particular over the
possibility of a waste handling facility at New Barnfield, off South Way, between Hatfield and Welham Green. It is possible that a waste incinerator could
be built there.
Bill Rogers. Bill was one of our founder members in 1976 and only
retired from our committee late 2007.
Sadly he passed away in July 2008 and a number of members of our
committee attended his funeral.
