The mouth of the Glen is the starting point for almost all the walks, whether casual afternoons out or going up the Glen Trail. Serious hill walking over the Ochils to Blackford village on the other side of the hills, or to the 2300ft. summit of Ben Cleuch to appreciate the spectacular views over most of Central Scotland usually starts from here.

For more information on hill walking in the Ochils, I would recommend a visit to the following sites for the benefit of previous experience and advice.
