ORIGINS OF THE PACKWOOD SURNAMEThe surname Packwood probably originates from the village of the same name in Warwickshire. The National Trust owns a fine Elizabethan mansion in the parish called Packwood House. However at some time in the past, a members of the family migrated to Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire.
