Harrogate & District Sugarcraft Guild Win Gold!
Every member of the Harrogate and District Sugarcraft Guild had a hand in the making of the competition entry for the 2007 exhibition at The Pavilions in Harrogate. The title was ‘Men’s Hobbies’ and the committee decided that a huge sofa should be the focal point, rather an ‘armchair sportsman’ was depicted (no names mentioned!) on a 6ft x 3ft table top. One member’s very handy husband kindly put together the back and sides of the ‘room’ complete with wallpaper and skirting boards.
