A freelance writer and editor based in the Yorkshire Dales, Howard Dobson is also the composer of a number of worship choruses, many of which have been performed in churches across the UK. Classically trained and a devotee of Palestrina and Chopin, he lists his contemporary songwriting influences as Paul McCartney, keyboard pioneer Howard Jones, Pet Shop Boys, worship leader Cindy Rethmeier, Rebecca St James and various progressive house and trance artists.
