Our Mission Statement

This sets out what we are about as a church and what we are setting out to do both within church life and in the wider community.

Our aim is to serve faithfully and with humility the  community of Holbrook and Bargate. We strive to meet the needs of the community, both spiritually and practically, by sharing the love of God and the message of Jesus Christ whom we have come to know.

We aim to respond and contribute to the life of the community, to earn respect for the beliefs and actions we stand for and to be seen as a relevant and essential part of life. We endeavour to involve all in the life and activities of the church and recognise the vital need to encourage the participation and contributions of children and young people.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, working in fellowship groups at church and in homes, participatory worship and in personal spirituality, we aim to unleash the creative abilities and energies of individuals and the community as a whole, enabling both to realise the potential qualities of life given by God.

We encourage a spirit of sharing, caring and learning, where people give cheerfully of their time, knowledge and experience. To that end, responsibilities are shared and all are supported by the Christian love and fellowship of the worshipping community.
