Title: Cross Channel Attack | Author: Gordon A. Harrison ISBN: 1-56852-379-3 One of th many volumes from the Department of the Army recording its part in World War 2. This volume deals with the preparation and execution of the invasion of North West Europe consisting of Operation Neptune and Operation Overlord. This volume also covers the drive up the Cotentin Peninsular to capture to port of Cherbourg.

of the major campaigns fought by U.S. Forces. This study, among others is available for purchase
from the U.S. Government Printing Office bookstore, Washington DC.

Division.

a part. This book comes recommended by 29th FA Bn. veteran Irving Smolens.
