Three years in the making, Raise the Pressure is somewhat disappointing after the debut album.
This is my opinion though, many liked it. Karl Bartos (ex Kraftwerk) played keyboards and co-wrote 6 of the tracks. You can indeed tell, this is very much a keyboard album, If you've got love, certainly shows the Kraftwerk influence, with its metronome rhythm. There were far too many tracks on this album, too many fillers and not nearly enough Johnny Marr. If a more New Order sounding thing is what you want, then this is it.
Electronic's weaker offering is many bands best work though, and a nice cover.
