The Hardy Plant Society Kent Group Plant Sales are held in large gardens open to the public, sometimes in association with an opening under The National Gardens Scheme "Yellow Book." Sales stalls are manned by selected, specialist nurseries and private growers offering a wide range of desirable and unusual herbaceous perennials, bulbs, alpines and shrubs. Some private growers sell only through the Plant Sales which provide an opportunity to buy plants which may not be available elsewhere. Ample free parking and refreshments are usually available. A charge is made for admission to the gardens which includes admission to the sales. List of Plant Sales 2005 With the exception of the two day Garden Show, all Plant Sales are held on Sundays.
