Arthur Atherley, Alexander Porter, M.D., F.R.C.S.I., M.R.I.A., Surgeon-Major of H.M.'s Indian Army, youngest son of the late Alexander Porter, Esq., of Beech Hill, county Down, Ireland, to Maud Mary D'Arcy, daughter of General Mark Kerr Atherley, Colonel of 109th Regiment, and formerly of 92d (Gordon) Highlanders.
