News arrives from Western Australia of a twelth grandchild for Eleanor Shepherd - congratulations to mum and dad!
Thanks to the Friends of Southampton Old Cemetery and their archivist, Dave Jacobs, a small "twig" of the Gauntletts has turned into a major branch of Atherleys so a new chart has been added to track that descent.
At this time of year, we also think of those who have died in conflict. Follow the the link on the left, "Their name liveth for evermore", to see a list of those whom I am aware of.
A considerable database of family history is being constructed; the information here is limited to a subset of occupation, birth (or baptism), parents, marriage, death and burial (or cremation or funeral). Personal information is suppressed where it relates to living individuals.
