He married his youngest brother Peter's sister-in-law, Deborah Cranmer, daughter of William Yalden and Anne (--?--), on 18 July 1803.5,6 He died from (non-epidemic) cholera, after an illness of three weeks on 12 September 1822 at New College, Oxford, Oxfordshire, aged 78.2,7 He was buried in 1822 at Bucknell, Oxfordshire.8
