R. Walker, R.E., and Mrs. Walker, of Bedford and Elizabeth Mary (Betty), only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. A. Cantopher, of Stonehaven, Ryde, I.W." The marriage did not take place and it is not presently known under what circumstances the engagment was broken.4 She married Norman Alexander Clark McMillan on 18 January 1941 at St Mary's Church, Ryde, Isle of Wight.5,6 She died on 6 April 1990 at Bournemouth, Hampshire.2,7,8
