Our Annual Divine Service 2003

The Annual Divine Service of the District Grand Priory of Forth Valley was held on Palm Sunday, 13 April at Torphichen Parish Church Torphichen Bathgate. The host for the occasion was Torphichen Preceptory. There was a fair turnout of Members, their families & friends. The officiating Clergy were V.E Fra. Rev. Henry L Williamson, Grand Chaplain and the Rev.Cliff Acklam, of Torphichen Parish Church and the Organist was Rt. Em. Fra.John Hay, P.P, K.C.T Grand Organist of Great Priory. The Old Testament Lesson was read by Rt. Em. Fra. William S Davidson, P.P. K.C.T. District Grand Prior. Em. Fra. Paul Bissett, District Grand Prelate read the New Testament Lesson. The Knight's Prayer was given by Ven. Fra. Ronnie J Gemmill, the Ven. Preceptor of Torphichen Preceptory. The Great Priory of Scotland were well represented, as was the District Grand Priors from Dumfries & Galloway, Strathclyde, and South East Scotland who were accompanied by Officers, & Members from their respective Districts, Among other Districts represented were Fife & Kinross. After the close of the Service the Members, and their Guests retired to the local Community Centre where a lovely tea was served to all.
