For young people we have eleven Groups with most Groups providing Beaver, Cub and Scout sections for both boys and girls. We also host an active District Explorer Unit and a Scout Band.

Depending on their age young people can join one of four sections. Beaver Scouts are aged 6 to 8; Cub Scouts from 8 to 10½ and Scouts are aged 10½ to 14. The District Explorer Scout Unit is for older Scouts aged 14 to 18 years old. A young person is welcome to join at any age, they do not have to have been in a younger section.
