Scouting would not be available to young people without adult support. All our local adult members are unpaid volunteers.

There are many ways adults can become involved in Scouting. You do not need to have been a Scout before. You could become a uniformed Adult Leader*, helping in a Group within a section of your choice.

You could become a Section Assistant* with a choice of wearing the uniform.

You could help a Group in an Executive Role. Helping with finances*, meetings* or general fundraising and supporting Adult Leaders.

You could join the Scout Fellowship, supporting Groups or helping with District Events such as camps, training or competitions. To join the Eastbourne Scout Fellowship Contact Ivy Elsey

You could help our District Team by getting involved in the recruitment and selection process for new Leaders on our Appointments Committee.

You could assist the District Executive as an executive member of the Scout Council.

Over 28 million members in 216 countries are enjoying what Scouting has to offer

If you want to help to give young people in Eastbourne the opportunity to experience the adventure please contact: Christine Skinner, District Commissioner email or complete this simple on-line form and
your details will be forwarded to us by the Scout Associations UK Headquarters.
