BDCA Scorecard

You can now beat the postal delays by sending your team results by e-mail. .

Our Secretary Dennis Breen has agreed to accept results using this electronic scoresheet instead of the posted matchcard but you must also copy Ian Goater the press officer and the website editor, Winston Williams and Ihor Lewyk, when you return your results. Please be sure to send the results to Dennis and the others by Friday after the match at the latest otherwise you may still be fined for late return.

All you need to enter is the Yorkshire grading code and the name and grade fields will be automatically populated if their name is known to the system. If not you will need to put their details in full. Obviously you will also need to enter the result of each game.

Full instructions of how to use the form are below:

Please click on the Map Logo to open the scorecard. The form opens in Excel and you will need to accept Macros.

Once open please select the team name field and use the drop down to find your team. When you select the Yorkshire code you need to enter the code with leading y. For example y1001 gives Roger Jennings. y1433 Ihor Lewyk.

If you enter the correct code of a player on the Yorkshire grading list the name and grade of that player will be automatically populated when you exit the field. If the code is not known to the system or a new player who hasn't got a code yet then you may see (N/A# or 0). You will need to enter their details in full.

Obviously you will also need to enter the result of each game and the total score using the drop down lists provided.
