Prize Giving
will take place following the final round at 3.45pm or before if
possible
Rules:
Gladiators will have 15 minutes on the clock each, Praetorian
Guard & Centurions 20 minutes each and Generals 30 minutes
each, to complete the game. FIDE Rapid play rules will apply,
with exception from the Tournament Controllers.

Generals: - By invitation only (5 round all
play all) 6 players Invite or application only.
Praetorian Guard: - players as selected by
the Tournament Controller.
Centurions:
- For players as selected by the Tournament Controller.
Gladiators
Arena: - For players graded 60 or below only.
(Designed for total beginners and players who have never played
in a tournament or still start for the Bronze Award)
This event is an YCA & ECF Grading
and Renaissance Academy Antonio Fattorini Trophy Grand Prix
event. Renaissance Academy only: by attending this event you will
obtain your Steel Award Certificate, if you have already achieved
this, 2/5 points or more will complete the tournament section on
your Bronze Certificate.
If you want to enter you must get your
parents/guardians signature if under 18 and return the attached
section along with the correct entry fee to Competition

To be eligible for Certificates you must be
aged between 5 25 and be a member of the Renaissance
Academy or connected via your school, youth club, community
project or be a part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme.
Play offs may be required to sort positions for prizes.
Controllers reserve the right to move entrants from section to
section when needed and change the qualification for entrants to
