Children with their harvest gifts
Harvest Thanksgiving. The prayers offered at the Plough service were richly rewarded with a good harvest. The children from Bradfield Primary School gave a generous offering of home grown fruit and vegetables plus a wonderful array of provisions. collected at their harvest service. The Harvest Service at St. Andrew's gave us a chance to thank God for his generosity, and also a time for us to reflect on the way we often misuse and abuse our planet by our selfish and thoughtless behaviour. Now is the time to really appreciate and treasure the gifts given to us. The harvest gifts were packaged and distributed to the elderly members of the community on Monday. Thank you to those who gave or helped with the delivery of gifts.
