The Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland is a direct descendant of the historic Church of Scotland. When doctrinal liberalism and religious doubt overcame the Presbyterian churches in the 19th century, we took up a separate position in 1893 to preserve the Church of Scotland of the Reformation, and to maintain Reformed doctrine, worship and practice. We have established a number of congregations in other countries and we have an extensive mission in Zimbabwe

Congregations & Services We have congregations in: The United Kingdom Australia & New Zealand North America Africa Singapore Westminster Confession of Faith The text of the Westminster Confession of Faith. This Confession has been the principal subordinate standard of most of the Presbyterian churches world-wide, as well as of other churches.

Free Presbyterian Bookroom The Church's bookroom stocks a large selection of Reformed literature. Click here to go to the bookroom's website where you can order the books online. Church Magazines The Church publishes two monthly magazines and a quarterly Gaelic magazine. The Free Presbyterian Magazine is available on this site.
