Penmon is the South Easterly extremity of Anglesey the island off the North West coast of Wales

Penmon originally comprised of the Priory and the Church, close to St Seriols Well and a number of farmsteads.In the late 18th and early 19th centuaries various Limestone Quarries were opened and the village was developed to house the Quarry workers. The quarries are no longer operational but in one of them a Bluewater fish farm has been developed. There is no Shop Pub or School in Penmon, the old church school having been closed many years ago. There are however 2 Shops, a Cafe, Pub and Primary School in nearby Llangoed.
