My name is Jacqui Beart and during February 2001, I took H M Prison Swaleside to Employment Tribunal for unfair/constructive dismissal and disability discrimination and I won on 01/03/2001. This site covers the Tribunal and other matters of interest in respect of the Prison Service.
( I would like to state for the record that I do not hold HMP Swaleside itself responsible for what happened to me. Total responsibility is laid firmly at the door of the previous management and the Prison Service).
And what do I hope to achieve from this website ?
Hopefully it will prevent what I have been through (and am still going through) happening to somebody else.
If you have ever been the sufferer* of Clinical, or for that matter any other kind of ,depression or, the victim of any form of discrimination at work, then this site will be of interest to you. *(By sufferer I am including partners, family and friends, all to often they are forgotten).
For too long the Prison Service have been allowed to victimise and discriminate against members of staff.
