Here I aim to record my achievements since I took up the game of golf.

I started to learn to play golf at the end of August 2000 which is amazing really because my first husband, whom I had been married to for nearly 22 years, played every week.   I just thought it was so............... boring - what on earth could people seen in hitting a tiny ball a few hundred yards to then putt it??????????????????????

Well, since my first lesson (which was free) I have not looked back.  I have my own full set of clubs, numerous books on golf and have just recently become a member of my local golf club.  I do not yet have a handicap but watch this space........

I have now obtained by official LGU Handicap which is 38 but I aim to bring this down.  I am now the Secretary of the Ladies Section at Rustington Golf Club.

If there are any "cat people" out there who also share my enthusiasm for golf, I would love to hear from you.  Maybe we could meet up and play a round whilst discussing our love of cats??????
