Groink - Pigs in Blankets

A terrific party idea or great as part of a main meal

Pigs in Blankets (Sausage Blankeys)

Cook some cocktail (pork) sausages and some bacon and wrap the bacon around the sausages and stick onto a cocktail stick for a simple and delightful meaty treat.

Or cook larger pork sausages with bacon wrapped around them and serve with roast potatoes and stuffing as a scrumplitious Sunday roast; or fry it all up with a couple of eggs for an English breakfast with a twist!

Easy to make: Preheat the oven to around 200 degrees Celsius, place sausages on an oven tray and heat them in the oven for 5 minutes -- remove them and wrap individual bacon rashers around them and place back in the oven. Allow to cook, turning occasionally, until sausages and bacon is nicely browned.

Of course, don't forget to make up the rest of the meal!
