From MODERN DANCE:

ATOMIC ROOSTER. Live (Germany '83). Retro Wrek RETRK 107

Live, Live, Live man, This is Atomic Rooster, Bernie Torme on Guitar, Vincent Crane and Paul Hammond on stage at Zeche club Bochum, recording this never before available rock album. There is no Hi-Tec equipment to smooth out this performance, what they played is what you hear, raw rock and its most brilliant. Some would say that this music is now very dated, well yes its dated early 80's but that doesn't detract anything from the music, especially when you look at some of the monotonous crap that's new and not dated. Anyway I'll just breath slow and deep a minute. Two songs on here made the top 10, Tomorrow Night made No 7 and Devils Answer made No 2. The hit singles were before guitar master Bernie Torme joined the group and added that extra dimension. The album is just short of an hour long and contains 8 songs plus an encore of Hold Your Fire, which is a must have for fans of old rock. Great. (Lister)

ATOMIC ROOSTER. Headline News. VP 171CD

Vincent Crane, Atomic Rooster, inseparable, and, if you don't mind a bit of AR, then this album will round off a few edges. Not only that, but Land Of Freedom and Hold Your Fire features Dave Gilmour (Pink Floyd), and Machine features Bernie Torme. There's also the addition of two extra tracks, and the sleeve notes make interesting reading too. Atomic Rooster, will, in retrospect, be recognised as a damn fine band, and it's a sad state of affairs that this will happen, as they should have been bigger than they were. Now that Crane is no longer of this earth, the chance of a reunion is pretty remote. Headline News isn't a bad album at all.
