Intro
I have been playing D&D since 1977, currently our group uses AD&D 1st edition with OA, UA and L&L. One of the campaigns is being written up in considerable detail by Chris Richardson, follow this link to The Hornburgh Main Index for maps, storyline, characters and links. If you are interested in trying the Duke3D polygon graphics engine as a gaming aid download the Duke3D FRP package (21K zip file) and read ALL about it. It contains a generic scenario written for play with an attached map. I have also produced a simple Duke3D map convertor (20K zip file) to turn any map into a HPGL file. So you don't need to have the Duke3D game to run the adventure.
Fiction - Whatever happened to Arlanni?
Chapter 418 of Adventurers (see below) left us the mystery of the fate of this minor character. When Tom Miller stated at the end of chapter 619 that he would NOT be continuing that particular story arc, I thought I might have a go myself. It is published here with Tom's permission. The Tale of Arlanni (15K zip file). I hope you enjoy it - comments welcome.
One VERY IMPORTANT point! This story is NOT part of any continuation by Tom, so please DONT write to him with suggestions, comments, other stories etc which it inspires. Tell me instead. That keeps us both happy.
