Jeremy Pike is Head of Composition at the world renowned Chetham's School of Music in Manchester. Here he has coached many talented students of composition, and also developed the School's excellent Music Technology facilities. He also directs the School's Contemporary Music Ensemble, which has performed at many prestigious venues, including the 1998 World Music Days International Festival of Contemporary Music. Before moving to Manchester Jeremy Pike played a crucial role in developing the electro-acoustic facilities at the Royal Academy of Music whilst he was Coordinator of Electro-acoustic Music
He has also composed many works especially for school pupils and students, including Aspects for five string quartets, the musical A Christmas Carol and an Overture for youth orchestra.
