The transfer time from the airport to sidari is roughly 60 to 90 minutes.
If you are travelling during the day the scenery is beautiful. You
will pass through forests of olive trees with
a scattering of tall cypress trees which cover the countryside in a
green blanket.
The coast has trees almost down to the sea. It would take a great poet
to describe the views in more detail.
All i can say is what an inspiration.
I must admit, my idea of a holiday was going to spain or portugal .
We booked for sidari because some friends had been the previous year and
asked us if we would like to go back with them.
After convincing me to try corfu we booked to go in may 2000. We liked
the place so much we are going back this year and hopefully every time
we go on holiday.
The people are very friendly and can't seem to do enough to make your
stay the most memorable experience possible.
