Learn a little Greek
Some pronounciations in the greek language are difficult
for english speakers.
However if you can manage a few simple words the greek
people will appreciate it.
All greeks who work in bars, restaurants and tourists
attractions speak english, but if you travel to the smaller villages or
find yourself in a large village while exploring the countryside a few
basic words may help.
Try some of the following.
| YASSOO.....Hello | KALI MERA.....Good morning |
| KALI SPIRA.....Good afternoon | KALI NICTA.....Good night |
| EFHARISTO (pronounced eff-harris-toe).....Thank you | PARAKALLO.....Please |
