| For the more adventurous people how about a trip to
Aqualand. There are loads of slides to try out. One or two are sure to get the adrenalin going and the lazy river or the jacuzzi are the perfect places to relax afterwards. Kids will love it (big or small). Admission costs about £10 each

Resign yourself to the fact that you'll never make it in the
SAS and try parasailing instead. For those of you scared of heights, don't worry, you will be flying over the sea and the only thing below you is water. Mind you, hitting water from that height would be like hitting concrete. ( only joking, don't let me put you off, splaaat). The feeling is as if you were floating on air like an angel....oops there i go again... Costs about £18 and lasts about ten minutes. I was still floating three hours afterwards! TRY IT!! |
| Some appartments have an evening entertainment
programme. Greek dancers are one of the more popular attractions. A highlight of the dancing is the circle of fire, flammable liquid is squirted on the floor, set alight and the dancers still manage to keep from setting themselves on fire. Another is dancing with a table clenched between thier teeth while spinning like a top. The appartments we stayed at included a barbeque with the entertainment. Cost about £6 per head. Some of the taverna's put on a show for free. |

Karaoke nights are always good fun. Besides the people claiming thier
"fifteen minutes of fame", you can hear some really good singers. This
bloke is'nt one of them.
Most taverna's have a karaoke night and some of them even have a wide range of music to choose from. They usually start around 10pm, or when someone's got a bit 'dutch courage' into them. All are free and go on until the early hours. |
