John and Margaret have been residents of Uphill, which is a charming little village situated on the outskirts of Weston-super-Mare, for almost 50 years.
Both their Son and Daughter received their Primary education at the Village School.

John is an active Rotarian, being a member of the Weston-super-Mare Club, where he was President in 1983/84. He was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship in 2015.

Margaret was a member of the Weston-super-Mare Inner Wheel Club until it was disbanded, and was it's President in 1982/3

Both are active Caravanners and are members of the International Caravanning Fellowship of Rotarians  (ICFR).  Margaret was previously Chairman of the District Committee.

John's principal hobby is messing about with his computer, whilst Margaret works expertly at her counted cross stitch as well as being a great reader.  Since retiring they have both become avid travellers.
