Regent's Park, located just behind Baker Street tube station and within a few minutes walk of Oxford Street, is a real gem. Loads of water, boating lake, children's play area, flower beds cleverly planted to be in bloom virtually all year round, cafe, tennis courts and even an open air theatre. Also popular with Sunday-league football teams, twitchers (that's bird lovers, not perv's), and tourists, fortunately the Park is large enough to accomodate them all.
