few lines from Doncaster

I
am attempting, and I've been doing this since the '60s, to amass a collection
of photos of railways in and around Doncaster (Donny to its friends). The
area I cover goes out to Wakefield, Goole, Barnsley, Penistone, Sheffield,
Worksop, Retford, etc., so it's quite an undertaking! Any contributions will
always be gratefully received. This page is still under construction. Watch
out for more!

Above is a class 33 with Gatwick Airport stock, on a
demonstration run, passing Holmes Junction, Rotherham. This is the kind of
thing I am particularly looking for, but anything of railway interest is

Clun Castle on a special at Donny, one of the earliest photos I took, on
