I've taught IT using Microsoft Office to students with a wide range of backgrounds, and presented papers at conferences on the subject of training.  If correctly carried out training can produce rapid results. I can produce effective training plans for the fields of Electronic Engineering and IT, and work with qualified staff to help produce training schemes for their own disciplines.

Many tutors dont realise that for effective training the learner must experience

TRAINING    DEMAND     MONITORING    ASSESSMENT

TRAINING
The trainee needs to be helped to understand what is required and how it can be achieved

DEMAND
There must be opportunities for them to practice their new skills and apply their new knowledge

MONITORING
The trainee must examine their own performance to see whether they are producing the required results

ASSESSMENT
The trainee's work must be examined by a qualified person (often the trainer) to see whether the required standard has been met, or whether further training is needed.
