Teacher Training Programme
The NCA training programme is based on a 7 year programme. The training is traditional and emphasises a high level of mental and technical skill. Students have to complete successfully a 6 months probationary period, Examinations are held twice a year and supervised by neutral examiners.
There are a total of 10 separate examinations leading to First Degree Teacher, representing the lowest teaching level. The training includes the study of relevant aspects of Chinese Medicine culminating in the submission of learned papers.
The majority of NCA teachers have trained in Mainland China.
