Magrat Garlick

Magrat Garlick, unfortunately named such due to parents who where intellectually challenged - or at least terrible at spelling. The 'new age' witch of Lancre's coven. Magrat has more bangles of mystic power, runes of the bat, and other paraphernalia of one who doesn't always get the point of 'real' witching. Since being introduced in Wyrd Sisters, her personality has changed somewhat - from the drippy tea maker, to the drippy queen. Under Granny's fearful stare she has grown something of a backbone, although she does try to hide it under long flowery dresses, pendants and rings. The first female on the disc to wear trousers, she always manages to earn the disapproval of the two other 'old fashioned' witches. She actually had to give up life in the coven after a brief but eventful spell as a fairy godmother, to become the new Queen of Lancre, married to her ex-fool lover (read Lords and Ladies for details on the strangest wedding in Lancre's history).
