Text Box: Latest news May 2004 - I have a guest book - please leave your comments.  My writings, in various parts, are beginning to be published and I am adding some quotations and thoughts on books I have found useful. Plus some new photos.

So.....

What is life all about?

For me, Life is about finding out who I am and becoming as fully as possible the person that I was created with the potential to be. The more closely I approach this, the more I naturally contribute to and love others.

To this end I recognise that I am responsible for my life - my thoughts, feelings, actions, responses.

For me this means living, thinking and responding in a way that is consistent with my inner ‘knowings’; that is in alignment with who I sense myself to be and with my experience of the infinite, loving intelligence behind the universe (‘God’).

And....

What's this site all about?

Well it's a chance to share my thoughts on what life and spirituality is all about, as well as an easy way to share a few photos of my favourite folk and places. If you're not included in the galleries yet it's probably just because I haven't yet got a photo of you, so beware! Why not e-mail me a good one to add right now!

I am increasingly conscious that the journey I am travelling is different to the ones being travelled by many of the sincere Christian folk I have spent time with over the past 25 years. This is an attempt to reflect on my inner journey so far. While I wish to make no judgement of the journeys of others I do find myself eager to share the one I am on in the hope that I may find other similarly minded travellers who will  spur me on my way and for whom I may also prove an encouragement. To this end I hope that if my ramblings strike a chord you will take the time to leave a message on the Guest Book board.

If there is the interest I may just organise a retreat up on the North Yorks Moors one of these days! A weekend to explore with others my purpose in life, the escape from Christian fundamentalism and the meeting of Christian models with those of the personal development and post-modernist thinkers.
