The Naturist Foundation
  Brocken Hurst Majorca

This is about something quite special, a little piece of Shangri-La that has been discovered by many different people whose only complaint is that they never found it sooner.  I hope you are are not looking for cheap thrills because you will be disappointed.   There is no more sex in a naturist club than in any other organisation (except perhaps a monastery or nunnery). But there is lots of fun and relaxation and, if you're lucky, an all over tan.

Fellow naturists reading this will know exactly what I mean when I say   that genuine naturists, on the whole, are the warmest friendliest people you will ever meet. Apart from this, the only thing they have in common is naturism itself. Some are educated at university and others in the university or life. You never know who you are talking to unless they choose to tell you. Most of the time they won't, because it doesn't matter.

The way you dress goes a long way to pigeon hole you and once the clothes have gone, all that remains is you.  But the best thing about naturism, is that, just like that mythical Shangri-La, you can leave the world outside the gates of your club. This, perhaps more than the sunshine, is what I believe brings most people to naturism and keeps them there.

Like a lot of others, we happened across naturism on holiday abroad; trying to find a clear bit of beach in Majorca. Then, the next year, we came across a naturist beach on holiday in England by looking for a beach where we could take our dog. Naturist beaches tend to be our of the way from where most people go so it was not really a coincidence. But once we were there, we soon noticed there was something special about this stretch of sand and good manners told us to either leave or join in. We joined in.

In 1994, we found a leaflet advertising the Naturist Foundation in Kent. That was a particularly hot summer and so we plucked up the courage to ring up and ask for a trial visit. Our lives have not been the same since. Now we have a caravan on site and every weekend we are boogieing on down at one of the dances or enjoying the other events that the members put on throughout the season.
